Description
The DBI-SALA Self Rescue Descender (SRD) is designed to enable a person to perform a self-rescue from an elevated work platform (EWP) or other working structure in an emergency. This type of system is used by a number of utility companies in Australia and New Zealand to provide a simple, safe and reliable escape system for use by workers in mobile hydraulic buckets and EWP’s, overhead cranes and general work areas accessed at height that requires an emergency device to perform a controlled descent to the ground.
